The Home Secretary, Theresa May, is to consider a letter from Bradford West MP (for Respect), George Galloway, claiming that a 'dirty tricks operation' against him involving a senior counter-terrorism officer in the Metropolitan Police and a member of his constituency staff.
If the counter-terrorism unit of the Met Police were to investigate any British politician, it should be George Galloway. Not, of course, because he is directly involved in terrorism (though he has collected funds for Hamas and supports that reactionary group), but because he systematically rationalises, justifies and explains Islamoterrorism. That is but an inch away from SUPPORTING Islamoterrorism.
The other thing to bear in mind is that Galloway is a political exhibitionist - or just a plain exhibitionist (remember Big Brother?). Because all mainstream parties, including his ex-party, have systematically rejected him, all he can now do to sell himself, but not necessarily sell Respect, is by exhibiting himself in the guise of extreme policies and extreme claims (which he has done for well over a decade). If only the IslamoTrotskyists of Respect will listen to anything he ejaculates, then George sees it as incumbent upon him to say or do or claim extreme things in order to insure future and further publicity and coverage. In this case it is the CLAIM that there's a campaign against him, which involves a member of the Met Police.
Another exhibitionist act of Galloway's was his recent defence of rape.
In response to Galloway's recent remarks about 'consensual' rape, a Bradford woman campaigned on behalf of rape victims in Bradford. The woman, a constituent of Galloway's, set up the Bradford About Consent campaign, which included a demonstrations and a Facebook 'events' page.
This is Bradford I am talking about.
This woman had her car windscreen smashed after she campaigned. She claims that ten days after publicly giving her name, the said incident occurred.
Are you thinking what I'm thinking? That a Muslim male probably did it? After all, there is a lot of Islamic rape in Bradford and in the world generally.
Not only that. It's not as if any Muslim, or Galloway, is going to say that they're 'in favour of rape'. Of course not! It's just than many Muslims, and the Islamic state of Pakistan, never recognise ANYTHING AS RAPE. This effectively amounts to the denial of rape.
